Required Customs Documentation
For all shipments to Afghanistan you must provide:
- Completed Detailed Packing List
- Copy of Recipient Passport
General Customs Information
At customs, the definition of personal effects is used items which have been in the senders’ possession for 6 months or more. As part of the declaration process for customs each shipment is required to complete a detailed packing list in the format: 5 x trousers, 6 x pairs of shoes.
We have a list of restricted items that you cannot send on any of our services.
Customs processes differ in each country. You may be asked to present photographic ID and copies of any work or residence visas to clear your goods through customs. Please ensure you check the customs regulations for Afghanistan.
All shipments are subject to customs clearance any charges incurred at the destination including (but not limited to) handling, customs & taxes, examination, quarantine or inspection fees must be paid in full by recipient on collection.
Arrival at the Airport
If you book our door to airport service, we will provide the handling agent with the relevant contact information for the recipient (supplied by you). To collect your shipment the recipient will be required to present photographic ID on collection.
You are advised to collect your shipment as soon as possible from the airport to avoid incurring storage fees. Please call and make sure your shipment has arrived before you travel to the airport.
